Our travels led us to the Northeastern states and Atlantic Provinces in 2001.   We kept hearing about the fantastic fall colors and had to see for ourselves.  It was true!  Although the "color" of each tree was comparable to back home in the Pacific Northwest, the shear volume of deciduous trees made for much more color overall!
